Social Science Baha undertook a project funded by the World Bank (WB) in order to promote Gender Equity and Social Inclusion (GESI), a framework developed by WB, to bring about greater inclusion of the marginalised groups including promotion of gender equality within the World Bank operations by careful review of current portfolio. The project, in addition to incorporating GESI into the design of projects, report writing and attending meeting on behalf of the World Bank, supported the implementation of the Adolescent Girls Employment Initiative, assist in the completion of Gender and Social Exclusion Assessment (GSEA) Vol. 1 and 2 and represented the World Bank in the collaboration of development partners on GESI.
