Donor: The Carter Center
15 June 2014
The Carter Center officially handed over the database of observation reports concerning the following: peace process, constitution-drafting process, political process, land rights, identity politics, and voter registration to Social Science Baha. The digital database, supported by funding from USAID, is a result of 4 years’ worth of reports based on research of trends in the peace and constitutional process, voter registration, the electoral issues, and includes case studies from June 2009 to September 2013. The raw database contains valuable insights particularly for researchers and scholars interested in pertinent issues for Nepal such as federalism, social inclusion, voter registration, and the democratic process. The database is an important addition to the Baha repertoire and will be managed and maintained by the Baha.
