Vibhav Pradhan holds a MA in International Relations from South Asian University, India, and a BBA in Management from Assumption University, Thailand. His Master’s thesis is on post-republic Nepal’s efforts in nation-building process, including ideas of state restructuring and federalism, and post-conflict peace-building. Some of his prior research also include the role of international organisations in Nepal’s domestic and foreign policies; post-conflict studies of Nepal, Afghanistan, and Sri Lanka; political economy of South Asian and South-East Asian regional integration process, among others. Prior to joining Social Science Baha, he worked in programme management roles for UNICEF and DFID projects in areas of child labour and child protections and strategic economic reform policies including implementation of Special Economic Zone and Public-Private Partnerships. He also worked with the Government of Nepal on comprehensive feasibility research on re-establishing of Birgunj Sugar Mills and Nepal Drugs Limited.
