Shalini Gupta has a keen interest in issues of accountability in governance in Nepal. At CESLAM, she is currently engaged in research focusing on agriculture and labour migration, as well as educational migration from Nepal. She is also the Managing Editor of the Social Science Baha Newsletter (bi-monthly). She has previously conducted research on entrepreneurship, youth employment, and evidence-based policy-making. She is currently pursuing her master’s thesis on industrial dynamics of the international educational consulting sector in Kathmandu (as part of her MA in Economics from Patan Campus, Tribhuvan University). She completed her BA Social Work and English at St. Xavier’s College, Maitighar.
