Saphala Dhital has a Masters in International Relations and Diplomacy from Tribhuwan University (TU). She completed her Bachelors in Sociology and English and is also an LLB graduate. She conducted academic research in Sichuan, China, entitled Economic Regionalism: Analyzing the Role of China for Economic Cooperation in South Asia through SAARC. She holds multiple academic awards including BRI Fellowship from Institute of South Asian Studies (ISAS) Sichuan University, China (2018) and scholarship from Nangyang Institute of Technology, Singapore (2018) in honor of the Late Mr. Lee Lak Ming. She is also the recipient of gold medal from DIRD, TU. Her area of interest includes transnational governance, labour, and minority rights.
