Ratna Kambang

Senior Research Associate

Ratna Kumari Kambang completed her Master’s in Sociology from Tribhuvan University (TU), Nepal. She has extensive research experience in wide variety of topics including labour migration, disaster and gender. Prior to joining CESLAM, she worked as the field researcher for the Social Inclusion Atlas and Ethnographic Profiles project of TU and the Centre for Economic Development and Administration (CEDA), and as a field research supervisor on the School to Work Transition Survey 2013 research project of CEDA. Her research interests include gender and development, quantitative research methods, and internal and international labour migration. 

Her writings on the sufferings of women migrants and their children have appeared in the Kantipur Daily.
