Publications

This volume consists of the proceedings of the international conference‚ Resilient Social Protection for an Inclusive Development, held in Kathmandu on 18-19 September 2019. The conference was organised by the Government of Nepal, National Planning Commission, in collaboration with ILO, UNDP, UNESCAP, UNICEF, UK Aid, The World Bank, GIZ, and Social Science Baha. The conference was divided into two parallel sessions entitled ‘Policy Dialogues’ and ‘Research Presentations’. The main body of this book consists of research presentations on Nepal made at the conference along with three other papers, two previously published and one unpunished, which have been included for their relevance. The annexure consists of brief summaries of the deliberations in the main conference room that was devoted to presentations related to policy.
