These Nepali summaries are also being used to form the basis of a weekly half-hour radio programme on Radio Sagarmatha from 8–8.30 am every Sunday.
Having started on 23 June, 2013, each programme focuses on one paper with a live discussion taking place between some selected experts, namely, Basanta Thapa, Dyuti Baral and Hari Sharma of Social Science Baha, Mukta Singh Lama-Tamang of the Central Department of Sociology/Anthropology, Tribhuvan University, and Hira Vishwakarma, independent scholar. Whenever possible, the Nepali authors of the papers have been invited to join the show as guest speakers. The papers are discussed in the order they appear in Shikshak. The date of broadcast based of each paper is also mentioned in the magazine. Since it is a live programme, callers can also field questions to the presenters. The programme is also carried by 15 other radio stations to cover all of Nepal. Six programmes had been aired until 31 July, 2013.
